Take action for Conservation Week at Carters Beach

“Take a moment to act for nature” for Conservation Week 12th – 17th September

Buller have had a tough year this year, with all the flooding, crazy weather and living with a seemingly never-ending pandemic. To lift the spirits of their community, the Buller District Department of Conservation Office has decided to host a Conservation Week fair. It is a great way to connect this small community while also educating people about the value and importance of conservation projects.

The community are getting involved and local businesses/community groups/schools will have their own booth at the fair, with something relating to conservation and merchandise to sell for fundraising.

There will be a tree planting event as patt of the day too.

What: Conservation Week Fair + Tree Planting Event

 When: September 10th, 10-3pm

 Where: Carters Beach Domain + Hall

 Who is this for: Catered mostly towards the youth of the Buller District and their families, but anyone is welcome!
